Hi!

My recovered Voigtlander Vitoret D is a good candidate for this "(re)discovering under $50 film camera".
I've got some cheap 12 shots films from the Schlecker store (0,99€ per roll) so it will be a really competitive option overall (1€ that camera from the eBay).
Besides this the joy of using a recovered camera that was faulty and bought as "for parts". :).

Thanks for this nice initiative!
Kind Regards,
Jes (from Spain).

Well I'm a big film fan so this seems like a no-brainer to me. I've got a few film cameras "laying around"...actually, I shoot digital for work, and film for fun. And try and shoot a little film too on a portrait shoot, even though the client could care less.

As it so happens, I just bought a Yashica Mat TLR off ebay, and it's under $50 and is on the way. Sure I could have used an existing camera, but hey, gotta have a new toy for a contest! So perhaps I'll give it a whack. Thanks for the link.

If you know where I can get a Nikon FE for $50, I'll ditch the Pentax I just bought. :-)

This is really going to turn out to be a great project. I think everyone participating will have much to gain from the "step back" from technology.
